Mount Vernon First United Methodist Church invites you to fellowship through our many small group opportunities. While each group is distinct, all members grow in faith and knowledge of the Bible.

Christian Education Groups

Christian Education and our Christian groups invite you to join them!  God never intended for anyone to go through life alone.  Our groups provide opportunities to experience God’s love and grace, caring and praying for one another, and the study and application of the Bible to our daily lives.

SUNDAY morning groups include:

J.O.Y. Class at 9:30 in the Zadok Casey Room. This class is designed for the more senior members of our congregation and study God’s word.

OPEN DOOR Class at 10:00 in Bryan Dycus Hall.  This class is designed for all ages and engage in discussion of contemporary Christian books and thinking.
