Leading people into the presence of God is the dedicated group of musicians we simply call the “Praise Band.” Comprised of people of all ages and from all walks of life, members of the band share a love of God and a love of music.
Musicians have included singers, guitarists, flutists, violinists, keyboardists, drummers, steel drummers and other instruments as available! Members of the Band are excited about sharing their faith through music that is upbeat and uplifting! Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
… for those who love the sounds of Traditional worship! Led by director John McGhee, the Chancel Choir rehearses every Wednesday night from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, late August through May, in the downstairs Music Room.
In addition to providing service music such as Introits and Choral Responses, they sing beautiful anthems in the Traditional Worship Service approximately three Sundays per month.
From Bach and Handel to Craig Courtney and other contemporary composers … they sing them all! Come join us as we “make a joyful noise unto the Lord!”
This group of individuals range from the experienced – some who have rung bells for over 30 years – to those who are just learning about handbells.
The choir has a 5-octave set of Schlmerich handbells and a 3-octave set of hand chimes which are generally used at the Traditional Worship services.
Rehearsal is at 5:30 pm on Wednesday nights, late August through May, and they play one Sunday a month. Come hear them sometime … you’ll want to be part of this great choir!
Marcia Henson leads this group, with rehearsals on Sunday mornings, October through April, after the 10:45 am Traditional service in the Music Room.
